MENTALITY, MULTIPLE ROOMS AND CREATIVE TEAM

Our can-do mentality, a welcome contrast to the common dat is niet mogelijk attitude of traditional venues. We can work with you or take care of everything from (themed) catering, hosting and moderating to event content, video, invitations, décor and parking.

We don’t charge you for every little thing. OK, nice things cost money, but basic tech, lights, beamers, screens, great internet and many things we have in house are included with your rental. Why are other hotels and venues looking sheepish right now?

Our flexible space with multiple rooms.
The high ceilinged theater seats 250 around small, round tables and a balcony holds another 100 people.

The beautiful Bar is spread over three levels and is lit through the original stained windows from 1913. The bar holds 250 people and is great for receptions and smaller break out sessions.

The Upstairs Theater seats up to 125 people for meetings, workshops, private dinners and shows.  There is a small bar in the space.

A large backstage area with dressing rooms and a kitchen and living room area all on on the main floor. There are two more dressing rooms on the higher floors.

Our extensive creative team of actors, writers, directors, and moderators to write and perform tailored scenes, funny sketches, to host the program and to take care of a great energy that supports the messages of the day or evening.

 

GREAT TECH, CAPACITY, CATERING AND BRANDING

The theater is neutral and customizable. We can remove and rent furniture that might be a better fit with the event. The neutral style can be adapted to match the feel of your event.

Our professional AV set up. Full lighting, screens and beamers, sound and microphones and our experienced in-house technicians are all on site. You don’t have to book that in separately. If you have a very special technical request, we have the connections to make it happen.

Our top-level wifi can handle the capacity of the event. Everyone can log in at the same time with protected download speeds. With internet service from two providers, an unexpected outage at one will not bring your event to a halt.

We have flexible catering. We have a large network of great and innovative caterers, but we don’t have mandatory contracts with them. This makes it possible to meet any requests for style and budget. We can also arrange dinner at great restaurants like Mazzo, Nomads and de Luwte which are stumbling distance from the theater.

The space can be branded for the event. There are many innovative options not available in most venues. Create a space that best supports the occasion.

There are three large screens in the theater for videos, graphics and logos. Hang banners from the 10m high ceilings via the catwalk without ladders or equipment. Set the mood with our (colored) theater lights. Install large objects for a wow factor.

The Bar has seven steel A0 frames for posters and white spaces to beam images on.

 

EASY PARKING & PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Parking is easy. Not free unfortunately, but nearby Europarking has space for 700 cars. Parking costs can be covered by the event for some or all (or none) of the guests.

Public Transportation is excellent with direct trams and busses to Central Station, Schiphol Airport, €1 Park and Ride lots and all parts of Amsterdam. Coaches can drop people off (and wait) right at the door. Arriving by boat (or bike) is easy.
