Underground Comedy is a sensational new variety night featuring a selection of the finest English-speaking comedians and performers in Amsterdam. Hosted by award-winning UK musical comedian Tamar Broadbent (BBC Radio & Comedy Central UK), you’ll see stand-up, songs, and some total surprises. We bring you comedy gems, existing favorites and talented humans trying never-before-seen new material. What a joyous way to end the weekend.. With a different bill every week, you could totally make a habit of it, and we think you should! After all, laughter is much healthier than avocados.
Every 1st and 3rd Sunday, come to Boom Chicago for 75 minutes of guaranteed good memories.

Tamar Broadbent is a comedian, improviser, writer, singer, actor, playwright and award-winning songwriter. She has filmed for Comedy Central online and thehookmag.com. Best known for her funny, catchy songs about single life in your twenties, Tamar has toured her solo musical comedy shows around the UK and internationally. Last year, she was nominated for Best Comedy Show at Perth Fringeworld. She will return to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year with a funny and frank one-woman musical.
In London, Tamar is a member of long-form UCB-style improvised comedy team My Brother, Jose at the popular Free Association. She performs regularly on the UK stand-up circuit, at venues such as The Boat Show, Glee and The Comedy Store. Tamar is delighted to be joining the legendary cast at Boom Chicago and excited to try her hand at improvising on the continent.
Tamar has also co-written the play Split with Emma Pritchard, and the musical Club Mexicano with John-Victor, which comes to London in Autumn 2018.
