Adyen processes payments for large companies like Spotify, Facebook, Booking.com, Uber, KLM, Vodafone, Netflix, Dropbox, and Groupon. They were looking for a new venue to hold a get-together event for all sales, account management and marketing staff worldwide. Global staff flies to Amsterdam three times a year for these meetings and Adyen wanted to book a special venue. It had to be right for a day session of sharing product updates, success stories and strategy. The space then needed to be turned around for the evening program with dinner and a tailored Boom Chicago Show. No problem.
It was an early start for our team, including our event manager, technical director and F&B staff to ensure everything would run smoothly. After all the preparations, the space looked amazing and the guests arrived.
After the afternoon sessions, the group moved to the bar for drinks and snacks while we prepared the theater with long tables, fine linen and candles. The three course dinner was provided by Van Der Linde, one of Netherlands’ best catering companies who had just catered the G8 meeting dinner which included President Obama.
After dinner our actors took the stage to perform a tailored show with scenes about Adyen. Based on an extensive briefing our creative team wrote funny sketches round big data and omnichannel commerce.
