Case Study: Topcon Xperience Cannes 2018
The Brief: After seven years of being small and ‘doing it themselves,’ Topcon EMEA wanted to raise the stakes, impact and excitement around their annual three day Topcon Xperience. An additional goal was to encourage participants (employees and business partners) to tell their stories and take more pride in their successes so the Topcon awards were introduced for the first time.
The Execution: Boom Chicago hosted the three day event in Cannes and wrote tailored material. The awards presentation after dinner was a triumph as was the end of conference wrap up. We even were able to stall while the audio problems were solved for the CEO’s welcome message which turned a potentially embarrassing moments into an impromptu comedy performance.

Case Study: Oracle EMEA
The Brief: For two years in a row, we were asked to co-create a day-long program with Oracle’s EMEA Inside Sales team. The goal: communicate the new sales strategy to the sales teams in a way that was clear, engaging and set the team up to be able to explain the strategy and how to implement it in their own words.
The Execution: We co-created and executed a program that made what could’ve been a dull, forgettable day into a fun, memorable one. The program ran in six cities Dubai, Berlin, Dublin, Prague, Malaga and Moscow) over three weeks. In each city we helped solve technical problems that came up due to the local technicians; that wasn’t quite in the brief, but we can’t help it. We solve problems.
