Boom Chicago
In 1993, Boom Chicago introduced improvisation comedy to a mainstream Dutch audience. Since then, the successful ensemble has made more than a million people laugh while continuing to innovate in and out of their theater. Boom Chicago has launched the careers of people like Seth Meyers, Jordan Peele and the creators and stars of Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly) and the stars and writers of 50 great TV shows.
Now it’s your turn to have a big night at Boom Chicago and see the next generation of comedy superstars on stage. Prepare to laugh at a fast-paced mix of sharp writing, quick improvisation, and live music. Over the years, Boom has sold more than a million tickets, produced a funny show on Comedy Central, and created the top two Dutch comedy videos of all time. As we offer many shows in many spaces, ticket price is dependent on the show.

Opening hours
Wednesday to Sunday from 6:00 PM – Late.
A visit to Boom Chicago takes on average 2.5 hours.
Accessibility
Our main theater is wheelchair accessible (as is the toilet), but please tell us in advance so we can prepare. Email [email protected] or call +31 (0)20 21 70 400. The Upstairs Theater and Attic Theater are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

From Amsterdam Centraal Station, take tram 13 or 17 to Rozengracht/Marnixstraat
Tram 5, 13, 17 and 19 all stop at Rozengracht/Marnixstraat
Tram 7 (and many buses) stop at Elandsgracht (then 5 min walk)
By car

PARKING
Closest: Street parking in the Jordaan. (€7,50/hour). Night ticket 19:00 – 24:00 €30
Easiest: Park at Q-Park Europarking, Marnixstraat 250 (€7,20/hr). Then 5 min walk
Cheapest: P+R Sloterdijk (park and ride)
From Ring A10, take Exit S102 (Piarcoplein 1). Enter after 10:00 and pay only €1 for 24 hours of parking.
