A Documentary in the Making!

We are thrilled to announce that our beloved comedy club will be the subject of an upcoming international documentary! This film will showcase the pivotal role Boom Chicago has played in the comedy scene, featuring archive footage and interviews with some of our most famous alumni, including Seth Meyers, Jason Sudeikis, Jordan Peele, and Amber Ruffin. The common thread? They all began their illustrious careers right here, on our Boom Chicago stage.

Inspired by our book, Boom Chicago Presents the 30 Most Important Years in Dutch History, this documentary captures our incredible journey. Talented directors Sanne Kortooms and Marte Visser bring our story to life, in a production collaboration between Rainproof Media and Boom Chicago. We can’t wait for you to see it!
