American stand-up comedian, actor and writer David Cross will perform a comedy show at Boom Chicago Amsterdam on April 8. The show is part of The End of The Beginning Of The End tour. Ticket sales start on Friday, November 15 at 10:00 via mojo.nl/davidcross.
David Cross hardly needs an introduction, considering his impressive track record in the comedy world. He has been performing stand-up shows since he was 17, in New York, Los Angeles and Boston, and formed the sketch group Cross Comedy. In his performances, he often mixes political commentary with satire.
Cross created, starred in and hosted the HBO sketch comedy series ‘Mr. Show‘ with Bob Odenkirk for four seasons. He played the role of Tobias Fünke in the first three seasons of the acclaimed comedy series ‘Arrested Development‘, and reprised this popular role in the Netflix reboot.
David Cross also had a recurring role on ABC’s ‘Modern Family‘ as Duane Bailey. He created, wrote, produced and played the lead role in ‘The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret‘. On the big screen, Cross is known for films such as ‘Kill Your Darlings‘, ‘Obvious Child‘, ‘Pitch Perfect 2‘ and ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind‘. In addition to his work in front of the camera, he also works as a screenwriter and director, including on the feature film ‘Hits‘ and the TV series ‘Bliss‘.
