You give us the suggestions. Our cast turns them into characters, scenes, stories, and songs, all made up live on stage.
One minute it’s a fast-paced game with ridiculous rules. The next, a single audience suggestion has somehow become an entire world. There’s a live musician. There are two acts. There is absolutely no way of knowing what’s going to happen. That’s the point!
And because we’re making it all up, no two shows are ever the same. Come five nights a week and you’ll see five completely different shows.
For more than 33 years, Boom Chicago has been excelling at improv in Amsterdam, with former cast members including Seth Meyers, Jordan Peele, Amber Ruffin, Ike Barinholtz and Kay Cannon. Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly also performed together here years before Ted Lasso existed.
