We kick off with impowr, the platform helping women rewrite the rules in male-dominated industries. This isn’t your average networking event. It’s a space to talk about ambition out loud, swap stories about taking risks, and remind yourself what playing bigger really looks like. Meet women like you who are chasing bold dreams, breaking barriers, and learning to own their power — together.

During the networking portion of the evening, enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbles and delicious nibbles while you catch up with friends or meet a room full of ambitious new ones.

Drop by the Coaching Booth, where impowr co-founders Tiffany and Yoana will give you a bite-sized coaching session designed to help you see your situation from a fresh perspective. Sometimes one powerful question is all it takes to unlock a new way forward.

Then, help us create the comedy show.

Write down one of the unspoken rules you’ve experienced as a woman in the workplace on our anonymous Post-it Wall. You know the ones… Be confident, but not too confident. Speak up, but don’t be bossy. Smile more. Don’t be intimidating. Later in the evening, Boom Chicago’s comedians will bring some of your anonymous submissions to life on stage. (Don’t worry—we’ll keep your identity a secret.)

Finally, complete our Networking Challenge Card by meeting new people, discovering different communication styles, and striking up conversations you probably wouldn’t have had otherwise. Along the way, snap some photos with your new connections for a chance to win some special impowr raffle prizes.

By the time the room is buzzing and everyone is warmed up, Boom Chicago takes over with an all-female comedy show that proves women are funnier, faster, and far more honest.

Expect sharp stand-up, fearless improv, and the kind of jokes that make you laugh before immediately thinking, “Oh my god… that actually happened to me.”

And for those who didn’t manage to make it to the Coaching Booth? The comedians will be ready to offer their own completely unsolicited, highly questionable life advice. What could possibly go wrong?
