We always knew there were spirits in that old building of ours. This Halloween, Deshawn Mason is summoning them.
Armed with nothing but a deck of cards and an audience, Deshawn hosts a late-night séance where chance decides who, or what, shows up. Cards drawn from the deck summon characters, stories and strange encounters that have never existed before. And will never exist again.
Deshawn’s one-person comedy show (plus spirits) is part séance, part confession, and part unknown. Mentalism and improvised comedy merge with physical theatre and cabaret to ask a simple question: What magic brings people together in a room? Is it coincidence, chance, or something felt but never explained? By the end of the night, you’ll know something true about Deshawn, and he’ll know something true about you. The real trick was never the cards.
Deshawn Mason brings together his longtime loves of comedy, improv, magic and mysticism for one funny, strange and slightly supernatural Halloween night.
Come join the séance. We can’t guarantee who else will…
