Most nights, our old building is just full of comedians. On Halloween, we can’t make any promises.
On October 31, Boom Chicago is getting spooky with a full night of Halloween comedy, magic, improv, and dancing cowboys.
There’s Boom Gone Country: Zombie Cowboy Hoedown for anyone who’s ever wanted to line dance with the living dead. Improv Spectacular: Horror Edition takes your suggestions and turns them into completely made-up scenes, stories, and songs. Then, once it gets late, Deshawn Mason is summoning the spirits for The Séance, a magic and comedy experience.
Costumes encouraged. Spirits guaranteed. The supernatural kind, the bar kind… hopefully both.

For one night only, Amsterdam’s favorite country line dancing party is going full Halloween.
Expect our returning Thriller line dance, Halloween song swaps, make-up artists, a haunted photo booth, and plenty of line dancing all night long. Costumes are very much encouraged!

Armed with nothing but a deck of cards and an audience, Deshawn hosts a late-night séance where chance decides who, or what, shows up. Cards drawn from the deck summon characters, stories and strange encounters that have never existed before. And will never exist again.
