Who is Wilko?
Wilko Terwijn’s breakthrough came with his New Year’s Eve comedy specials on Dutch TV. He became a regular player at ‘De Grote Improvisatieshow’, a Dutch version of ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway.’ As a stand-up comedian, he has played at every festival in Holland and has played internationally as well. Wilko is a much sought-after comedy writer for TV and worked as a writer with the top of the Dutch comedy world. He even co-wrote (alongside Boom fonders Andrew Moskos and Pep Rosenfeld) Mark Rutte’s “most successful speech ever.” He was a head writer of the Comedy Central Roast’s and he’s one of the proud founders of a Dutch comedy football podcast.
